The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is an observation wheel in London, UK. When it was built it was the largest on the planet, but there are now larger wheels, for instance The Star of Nanchang, opened in the Spring of 2006. The Singapore Flyer, which is 15 metres taller than the London Eyewas opened in early 2008.

The London Eye is one of the most popular paid traveler attractions in England, visited by more than 3.5 million people a year.
The London Eye stands 443 feet high on the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the Thames in London, England, between Westminster and Hungerford Bridges.
